Last few month I was really busy and had completely no time for SQLTreeo. This add-in was started being used by quite many people and I have to admit that I couldn’t give them proper support because I had no energy to solve any issues in the evening after work. I was “waiting” few month if situation will change but it won’t.
There are personal reasons behind that (new family addition) and that’s why I don’t want to try wait any longer and will suspend SQLTreeo “officialy”. So from now on, I will no longer develop or give support to SQLTreeo Add-in. SQLTreeo will be available for download in its current version.
I decided to offer SQLTreeo project for purchase. Whether I will sell SQLTreeo exclusive to someone (source codes, web, domain, etc.) or I will start selling source codes to individuals will depend solely on demand. If you are interested in any form, don’t hesitate to drop me an email (jakub.dvorak@sqltreeo.com).
Thanks for the support and sorry for wasn’t being a best helpdesk

Congratulations on the new addition!
Wishing you all the best, Jakob.

I use COALESCE quite a lot in my applications, and I would rcemomend everybody else to as well. It’s a quick function, that would become quite messy if left up to your PHP/ASP applications to sort.
What are you on about?
Congratulations on your new addition!
Sorry to hear, the tool has been immensely useful. Congrats on the new addition and thanks again for the time you have invested.
Sorry to hear that too. I hope you will change your mind and back to develop sqltreeo asap. Btw best wishes for new addition.
Congrats, Jacob!
It’s always sad when you have to let go your pet project.
But this time it’s really good thing to do.
(I had very same situation 3 years ago
But never say never, you’ll be back.
If not with Treeo2 then with something else.
Creative and diligent people don’t change character.
Best wishes!
Congratulations on the new addition.
I am sad to hear SQL Treeo will no longer be developed, it is extremely useful for me. I notice you are looking to potentially sell the code, I think most people here would love it to go open source.
Would you consider a community fund raising to reach a target amount by which you would open source the code? This would let us move the project forward quickly. We would obviously need to know a target value to reach.
Hi Peter,
I didn’t consider this option. I am currently in the stage of investigating the maximum value. I prefer option when some individual/company would takeover everything as is. Community funding might be good idea if any other option won’t work.
Jakub
Congratulations Jakub, your gain is our loss.
I think your biggest challenges are ahead of you, but also the best ones.
Thank you so much for TreeO as it is; I hate to think of life without it now, and I hope you find a way to keep it alive.
Kind regards
Derek
